Hurrah to the strongest team in World Grand Prix 2012, the number 1 team in the world, USA 🙂

It was the fourth winning moment of the Americans after they clashed with the Cubans late this afternoon in Ningbo, China. The team nailed the Cubans in three straight sets, 25-14,26-24,25-14 (3-0). Heather Bown built of her sturdy wall on the net against the powerful spikes from Cuba. It was so impressive that Bown showed her classic running spikes throughout the match.

The birthday celebrator, the lovely Kristin Richards scored 17 points, 13 attacks, 2 blocks and 2 serves.  Megan Hodge contributed 17 points too, 14 attacks and 3 blocks.

In fairness with the Cuban team, Yoana Palacios bombed 11 points, 9 attacks and 2 serves. The Cubans almost got the second set with their unstoppable kills but no enough juice to down the Americans, 26-24.

USA will play against China, who suffered a 3-1 defeat from the strong Turkish team (24-26,25-22,25-23.25-21).

It would be the final game, final match… If USA will win tomorrow, gold medal will be awarded. It will be their 5th  title in FIVB WORLD GRAND PRIX, the highest women volleyball league. Good lick ladies ^_^ Go for gold !

FIVB continued to bring the best volleyball matches of the 2012 FIVB WORLD GRAND PRIX. The Americans and the Turkish clashed this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. in Ningbo, China. Turkey had its second win yesterday against the Cubans while the Americans nailed Thailand in four sets. Both teams did well in their respective matches.

However, it was the third straight win of the Americans since they defeated Turkey in four sets, (3-1) 25-18,25-23,21-25,25-20. WOW! 🙂  Nancy Metcalf showed her powerful spikes against the Turkish blockers above the net. Neslihan Darnel also outsmarted the Americans being the lefty attacker but not enough juice to outduel them. It was an exciting match because the Euro League champ stole a single set all through out the game.

With 23 powerful attacks and 5 solid blocks from Megan Hodge and 7 massive blocks from Christa Harmotto,  USA dominated the match against Turkey.

The Americans will face Cuba tomorrow while the Turkish will clash against China.

At exactly one o’clock this afternoon, the Americans clashed the Thai spikers in Ningbo, China for the FIVB World Grand Prix 2012. As we all know for a fact that Thailand defeated the USA national team in 5 sets last 2008.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7tQ4-0bvfs That was their biggest win in their volleyball history. Great job!

Since then, Thailand has been one of my favorite Asian teams in volleyball. I love Onuma Sittirak, Nootsara  and Peumjit and Piyanut. However, my superb American team is always here. They won’t let Thailand nail them again. Hehehe 😀

The Americans showed their powerful spikes against the Thais. They defeated the former Asian champ in 4 sets, (3-1) 25-18,27-25,18-25,25-18. However, it was still a good job for the Asian team since they were able to steal a single set from the American powerhouse. According to US captain Scott-Arruda “Playing Thailand is more and more difficult”. http://www.fivb.org/EN/volleyball/competitions/WorldGrandPrix/2012/viewPressRelease.asp?No=35657&Language=en

It was the first match of the day, Match 73, as FIVB WORLD GRAND PRIX 2012 commences its final round.

It was so exciting because the top two of the world’s best teams are going to compete. Time to revenge from the Brazilians because they were swept in the second round by the Americans (3-1) 25-20,18-25,18-25,23-25.

The match favored with the Americans in the early two sets, 25-19,25-20, of course with the superb kills by Megan Hodge and Heather Bown’s massive blocks, but the Brazilians made their run in the third and fourth sets respectively, 25-20,25-13. It seemed that the Americans lost their momentum and Shiela Castro continued to shower her powerful spikes from Brazil plus Paula Pequeno’s unanswerable kills.

The most exciting was the deciding set. At first,Brazil led two points against the USA but Nancy Metcalf was able to manage to give her powerful spikes and brought her team to 15-13. It was so tough. It is a fact that Brazil is a strong team and responded very well in the 3rd and 4th set. Coach McCutcheon sent his players on court.

To be late in a certain business moment is unhealthy. It doesn’t bring good impression to anyone, does it?

Yes, I agree. It happened to me personally. I was late last Monday and Tuesday morning at work.

I disliked the feelings. I disliked the mood I showed. I was kinda uneasy. I was kinda restless. I was kinda ashamed.

That  awkward feeling bothered me so much. I didn’t like it, seriously!  Who is to blame?

JAPCHAE was really sorry about what happened. Somehow his awkward feelings subsided. Thanks God!

I didn’t have any options but to honestly say” SORRY”. (to be continued)

I was kinda excited last Monday because I started my part time tutorial job this month. However, It became a busy day. It was tough because I needed to get up early  and go with the rush hour flow. The problem started when hiring a taxi going to Bonifacio Global City. Oh my G! I had a hard time to get one until 8:30 in the morning. My class usually starts at 9:00 a.m. I could barely imagine a 30-minute travel time to reach BGC. In short, I was late. I arrived at 9:10. Should I spell TRAFFIC? 😀

I went off at 11:30 and immediately headed to SM MEGAMALL to pay some of my monthly bills. Luckily, the queue wasn’t that long. Next, I went to BPI for a business transaction. WOW! I could not wait to gobble some food for lunch. I wanted to have “lutong bahay” (cooked at home) dishes. I really miss them. Multiple choices were there and  what caught my attention was a pork liempo from Cebu City (Queen City of the South). Nom,nom, nom! I was really hungry at that point. I told myself I wanna try this one out. Voila! I got a single order! It triggered my mouth to water when I smelled the nice aroma of pickled papaya as a condiment for the delicious liempo (belly).

I went off at 1 o’clock since it’s just near going to the office. I rode an FX van (public vehicle) and arrived at 1:40.

I stayed at the pantry and tried to listen some songs from my MP3 player.

THE INTERNET POST

Welcome to TIP. ABC, CBS, NBC and all the cable news channels are all bought and paid for and report what they are told to report. The MSM lies to and instigates people into political argument and gossip that leads to dead-end roads and distracts from the real issues. There is much better informational news reporting away from the Democrat and Republican tail-spinning arguments that are usually rooted in confusion and hate.. TIP is your alternative.
