It was a very lucky day for the Lady Stags as they outsmarted the Lady Altas in three straight sets, (3-0) 25-18,25-22,25-16 during their second game of Shakey’s V-League Season 9 – Open Conference at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium yesterday.

Jeng Bualee and Utaiwan Kaensing, guest players from Thailand of Sandugho led the game with their powerful spikes from the open and the back row plus quick hits in the middle. Bualee was chosen “Player of the Game” and the “MVP for the Finals”.

The reinforcements from Thailand of the Lady Altas started with a poor performance in the opening set. Kunbang Pornpimol and Sutadta Chuewulim made service errors and long hits that made their team left behind by the Lady Stags.

It was in the second set that both teams made a close fight. But the Sandugo’s massive blocks over the net and a service ace from Nene Bautista, former MVP from Adamson University, ended the set to 25-22.

During their first game last Sunday, both teams showed their great attacks as it ended into a decider set, (3-2), 18-25, 29-27, 14-25, 25-13, 15-7. But Sandugo managed to go ahead the Cagayan combining the running spikes of Su Roces and off the block hits of Bualee.

Congratulations to all the teams who participated in this year’s conference. 🙂

Keep it up! I am looking forward for the next season of Shakey’s V-League!

Last week of Tuesday morning after my class at Global City, I headed to SM Megamall to kill the time since my afternoon regular job starts at 2:30 p.m. There was no traffic so I arrived there after 10 minutes. I advised the taxi driver to take the underpass so he could avoid swerving or he could avoid the traffic police officers at the facade of the mall.

I wanted to have some frappuccino at Starbucks but I changed my mind and headed to Breadtalk. I like the food there so without any hesitation I hurriedly went there. sweet and delectably fragrant. My mouth watered as I picked up the tongs and tray to choose  the tasty kick-kick..

It’s almost a dollar bread with a delicious buttered-cream filling open at the middle. Likewise, the mango cream cake was opted. It was really yummy. Yum,yum, yum!

I told myself I would come again. Sooner!

"News and views from around the world"

Welcome to TIP. ABC, CBS, NBC and all the cable news channels are all bought and paid for and report what they are told to report. The MSM lies to and instigates people into political argument and gossip that leads to dead-end roads and distracts from the real issues. There is much better informational news reporting away from the Democrat and Republican tail-spinning arguments that are usually rooted in confusion and hate.. TIP is your alternative.
