Congratulations to the champion, DLSU (De La Salle University) Lady Spikers who bagged the gold medal in the Sandugo Unigames held in USLS Covered Court, Bacolod City.
The powerhouse Lady Spikers outdueled the Lady Stingers (USLS) in 3 straight sets, (3-0), 31-29,25-19,25-14.
Yesterday, the Lady Stingers outsmarted the Lady Falcons (Adamson University) in a 5 setter game, (3-2), 24-26,25-21,25-15,15-25,16-14, while DLSU (Lady Spikers) nailed the Lady Tigresses (UST) in 5 sets, (3-2), 25-27, 21-25, 25-15, 25-15, 15-8.

Thailand has really what it takes in terms of volleyball. This time, it’s in Bangsaen where the 2012 Swatch World Tour 2012 drops by in.

The sixth edition of 2012 FIVB Volleyball Club World Championship was held in Doha, Qatar from October 13 to 19.
Six teams participated and four of them advanced to the semi-finals. Fenerbache (TURKEY), Sollys Nestle Osasco (BRAZIL) , Rabita Baku (AZERBAIJAN) and Lancheras de Catano (PUERTO RICO). Unluckily, Kenya Prisons (KENYA) and Bohai Bank Tianjin (CHINA) didn’t have enough juice to advance the next round.
In the semifinal round, Rabita Baku nailed Fenerbache in 3 straight sets (3-0), 25-18, 25-20, 25-16; while Sollys Nestle Osaco outdueled Lancheras de Catano in a 3-setter game, (3-0), 25-15,25-13,25-15).
The 3rd place match was between Fenerbache and Lancheras, (3-0), 25-16,25-17.25-17.
And the most awaited part was the gold medal match between the Rabita Baku and Sollys Nestle Osasco, (3-0), 25-16,25-14,25-17. Congratulations to the Brazilians for winning the gold this year!
Last year, Rabita Baku (Azerbaijan) bagged the gold medal, Vakikbank, silver (Turkey) and Sollys Nestle Osasco, bronze (Brazil).
