After winning two games in a round robin platform, two teams prevailed to be undefeated. The RC Cola of the Philippines and the EST Cola of Thailand clashed in the Finals of the Philippine Super Liga 2016 Invitational League.

In the opening set, both teams showed great offense and defense above the net and showed see-saw of scores but after some unforced errors made by EST Cola spikers, they were behind of two points, 25-23, and the RC Cola won the set.

The same thing happened in the 2nd set but the Philippine squad found a better way to end the set, 25-23, and left the Thai team two sets to none.

However, the 3rd set favored with the Thai volleybelles as they trounced the Filipino spikers with powerful spikes and solid blocks and sealed the set, 14-25.

The Philippine team came back into its rhythm in the 4th set as they tried to end the match against the Thai squad. The same scenario happened as they enjoyed the see saw of scores but Jovelyn Gonzaga of the RC Cola finished the match with a great kill, 25-23.

It was really a great comeback for the Philippine team after a defeat in Thailand two weeks ago during the Thai-Denmark Volleyball League.
